We need an experiential relationship with the Father, and it is the job
of the Holy Spirit to reveal what we are to speak.

But how can they call on him to save them unless they believe in
him? And how can they believe in him if they have never heard
about him? And how can they hear about him unless someone
tells them?

Take Away:
It is the Holy Spirit that reveals to us what is in the Word or Scriptures
and He will let us know when to speak what the Father is speaking to
His people.

Ron:
First off, one premise to be able to speak His word with authority is to know His word. Because if Elijah didn't know that God had said in three and a half years “it's gonna rain again.” If he hadn't known that, he couldn't just go; Well, I think it's time to rain, so Lord, now make it rain. No, there was a word from God. He stood on that word and he reminded the Lord of the Word. And of course, the Lord honors his word.
Laurie:
It's with the heart, a person believes resulting in righteousness and with the mouth he confesses resulting in salvation. So this whole concept of what you're voicing here is, that the word is in our heart; and we're speaking it and we're confessing it, and it's creating righteousness in us.
Ron:
The word first has be in your heart. You're assimilating the word of God. You're not coming up with something out of your mind, or you're not manufacturing a promise from God. No., you're appropriating, you're, you're simulating the word, and then you can speak it, and then you can stand on it because really the only authority we have is not within. It doesn't reside within us. The authority resides in the word of God. Of course, if we assimilate the word of God and we become the Word of God, then yes, the authority resides within us. Some people, they distance themselves from the word, and so they try to speak things that they haven't assimilated, that hasn't been made part of them.
That's what Christ did. He always did those things that He heard the Father. How did he do that? Was He this mystic that could just, you know, have some special gift that he could hear God's voice? No, He was a man of the word.
Sandy:
Not only the man of the word, he had the experiential relationship with the Father. Exactly. And I think that plus the word is the thing that creates the oneness with the Father. Every meeting with the Lord gets you a little bit more soaked in with that presence of the Father. Because the word without the Father is just another thing to be read.
Laurie:
first Peter four eleven. If any man speak, let him speak as the Oracles of God. Right?. And it's the Lord wants a revelation of Himself to come through you. You house the Lord and you bring Him to people. I met the Lord through others and the word as it was spoken. I've met Him both ways. But the majority of the times where I've really felt and met the Lord, it's when it's been ministered through others to me.
God is making you His mouthpiece, making you the vessel through which He is born to the world. Yeah. I think this whole principle is, is so, so important as a Christian as to what you're to become. You know, this library of eternity of his word.
Ron:
You know, I want to go back to what Sandy was saying. It really is mystical because God is a spirit. You don't see him, you know, He is a spirit and so, He identifies Himself with His word. Christ was the word of God. You know? He became the Word of God. He came as a man, but he became the Word of God. The process of that only the Father can do. It has to be through the Father's Spirit, you know, through the Holy Spirit that we become it. We avail ourselves or we position ourselves by being in the Word. I always ask the Lord, Okay Lord, show me yourself. Reveal yourself to me, impart to me. Because if, if not, it's exactly what Sandy says, it's just another book. It's just correct. It's just a dead letter.
It's not gonna do anything for you. If you're reading it for intellectual stuff and all that, you're wasting your time. It was written by the Holy Spirit and only the Holy Spirit can reveal what He meant. And not only just what He meant, mentally, but the very spirit of it, the very essence of that word has to be revealed to you by the Holy Spirit. When that starts happening, then you start becoming a living epistle.
Laurie:
How will they believe in Him whom they have not heard? And how will they hear without a preacher? How will they preach unless they are sent? Just as it as it is written. “How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news of good things!”
