Live Behind the Veil

Statement of Faith

What We Believe in

Our intimate relationship with our Father, opening and exposing the depths of our hearts to Him so that nothing be hidden from Him. He dwells in our “secret” place, or inner room as spoken of in Matthew 6:6

There is a personal and a corporate worship, “He inhabits the worship of His people. It is worship that touches the heart of God. Revelation: The whole of the bible is the written Word of God, and it is through His Holy Spirit that brings true revelation regarding the Father and Jesus as Jesus told the disciples.

Standing in the gap for another, prayers that focus on a specific need. Jesus is constantly interceding for us, and He is our example Prophetic Utterance: Prophecy is not necessarily foretelling the future. A prophet is one who stands in the presence of the Lord thus prophetic utterance comes from the Lord to a people or person.

God is still in control and will lead His people as He chooses. Those open to hearing His direction will find that everything in their lives is more directed than most realize.

The foundation of our lifestyle is a life of prayer, worship and living
in His word. His love, Spirit and integrity is what we strive to express to everyone we meet.

The Bible is the living, infallible Word of God inspired by the Holy Spirit. This is where we begin to build from. “There is nothing new under the sun”. As we seek the understanding from the Holy Spirit, He teaches us the how and why of what we do.

We believe:
  • In the sovereignty and Lordship of Jesus Christ over the individual believer and in our submission to Him.
  • The Holy Scriptures are the verbally inspired Word of the Living God.
  • The eternal God is the one true and living and that God is eternally manifested in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
  • Mankind is lost and spiritually dead through the sin of Adam, but God sent His Son Jesus Christ to redeem us and give us life.
  • Jesus Christ suffered for us, and in our stead, to redeem us from sin and from sickness.
  • There is nothing a sinner can do to save himself, except to believe on Jesus Christ as his Lord and his Savior.
  • Repentance and faith in Christ Jesus will save us eternally.
  • In Separation from the world of sin, and in sanctification, and the goal of Christian perfection.
  • In experiencing water baptism, following our conversion to Christ.
  • In the anointing or baptism of the Holy Spirit for the believer.
  • The Holy Spirit produces godly fruit in our lives.
  • A believer may receive by impartation or by the laying on of hands from other believers who are anointed to so minister.
  • The New Testament order for the family and home.
  • In the prophetic ministry, or the living Word of Christ.
  • In reverent worship and praise to the Lord.
  • Each member needs every other member of the Body of Christ.
  • In the evangelism of the whole earth.
  • In these last days, Christ Jesus will manifest Himself in a spiritual visitation to His elect and after this visitation He will personally return to this earth as He went away.
  • After this life there is a place prepared for those who are saved, and a place of punishment for the lost.
  • The Kingdom of God will ultimately prevail over all the kingdoms of this world.
  • The key to God’s power in our lives is prayer and meditatively waiting on the Lord.
  • There are truths that are yet to be revealed by the Holy Spirit which will require our open hearts and acceptance to continue our walk with God and see the full restoration of the church for His Kingdom.
