Summary:
The first century church moved in the Holy Spirit because the Word was living in them and they had become living epistles read and know by all men. Today the Word must be a revelation to your heart. All religion’s has doctrines that they have created . The most important thing is a deep relationship with the Father. He gives us His heart as our heart of flesh passes away. We become men and women after God’s own heart.

Take Away:
For the church to move the world today, they must throw off man’s religion’s and reach in to have the same deep relationship with the Word of God. We must cling to our relationship to the Word. We too must become living epistles read and known by all men.

This first century church was a colony of the Kingdom of God. And they were living that present time in the Kingdom, while the rest of the world around them was still functioning in their religiosity. After the baptism, the Holy Spirit came into being, then the fruit of that walk with the Spirit began to manifest itself and everybody was affected around them. And again, the Word is the key. Christ was the Word made flesh. Those of us as believers back then, I say, as the people became living epistles, and they carried the Word with them and spoke the word and became the word themselves, and ministered life to whoever they came in contact with, because they were so different from the everyday thing that people would see out there be it Judaism, be it paganism, be it whatever it was, they were into it at the time. True religion is one and unchangeable. Its language is nothing in my hand, I bring simply to Thy cross, I cling. False religion is one and unchangeable. It has many varieties. It's one language is something in my hand I bring, something may vary in its in that it is not the way of God not the way which God has appointed, but it is the way of Cain or man's way. Now, the key differences here with the false religion versus the true religion, the one is faith; the other is works. The one is grace; the other is human merit. And the one is the path of life; the other ends in the second death. It just shows you the way of God is a much better way to follow.

When we get into this type of talking, I always go back to revelation. If it's not a revelation to you, it means nothing. It's just doctrines. Christians have doctrines; we can have doctrines. They mean nothing, unless it's a revelation to your heart. We have such a compassionate God and he looks at people's hearts. He doesn't look at their doctrines. He looks at their hearts. Look at Saul of Tarsus, this guy was out to lunch. As far as his drive, he was so against, you know, so going against the grain of God's grain. And yet he had a heart. God looked at his heart. Look at David. I mean, this guy screwed up majorly. And yet God looked at his heart. I think as you go on with the Lord, you begin to lose a lot of doctrines. You begin to lose a lot of the things that you held dear; you realize that He's moving on. A pastor that that we've been relating to. He goes when he waits before the Lord now, he sets his rocking chair and he goes, Lord, I don't know anything. All the things that I know. "It's not important." The important thing is knowing Him. The important thing is having a relationship, a deep relationship with Him. Every day I get up and just go "Okay, Lord, I don't know anything. Lead me today into Your heart. Teach me today, by revelation. Teach me Your ways." Mike was talking about Enoch. Here's a guy that didn't even have a Bible. And yet the Word says he walked with God. Know that just takes all the doggone restrictions and doctrines and throws them right out the window. This guy didn't have a Bible. I don't remember any Bible that Abraham had, but there was a heart. There's something in these men's hearts. We humble our hearts before You.

The simplicity that you're talking about, Ron, is something that God has instilled in our hearts. We don't leave His presence. There was a time when we did. We've established a relationship, giving ourselves to the Word is a very important part of our worship. Thank you for the Word that you spoke to me today. It seems that our worship has to be coming out of the Word that we receive, the Word we walk in. It's all about His Word coming back to Him.

Many of the things, which are many, that I don't understand, I'm assured that as I cling to my relationship to the Word, He will lead me and He'll guide me and He'll open up doors. Let's put it this way: the future is not scary to me. Because I know that my Father, the Word of God, I have a relationship with that. And it will lead my heart.

Where do you get your heart? My heart, your heart is His heart that He gave us, like David. There's a remnant that's coming forth that just are just walking out exactly what you said. The heart that they have in them God's placed there. Our love for the Lord and our love for the Word. We put it where it's safe. Nobody can take it away from you, because you hid it in the right place.
