Our Mission

At Live Behind the Veil, we are a diverse family comprised of individuals from various backgrounds and experiences.

We have come together through a profound understanding of God’s living Word, which is meant for all humanity. We believe that the Kingdom of God is about connection and communication. Our interpretation of Scripture highlights the notion that it is “Christ in you, the hope of Glory,” as stated in Colossians 1:27 NASB.

It is by faith that we recognize the universe was created through God’s Word, as noted in Hebrews 11:3 ESV, which tells us that what is visible was formed from the unseen.

God chooses to convey His message to the world through His Holy Spirit, speaking through people. We trust that He guides every word we share, directed towards those who are willing to listen.

Who We Are

Deborah Wurtz

As a retired elementary school teacher, she loves to read, write, along with relating, and sharing the gift of teaching that God gave her with others.

Deborah brings a level of balance and simplicity to the family here and for us, it is important to see and hear her approach in relating with others on how to uncomplicate a personal relationship with the Lord.

“The opening up of Your Word gives light. It gives understanding to the child-like.” It is the childlike faith that Jesus talked about in the gospels that will make it into the kingdom.

Edward Wurtz

There are few people as real and honest as Ed is. With his varied past, he prefers not to talk “about” God, but rather speak what God puts on his heart into any situation presented to him as he goes through his day.

As a founding voice on this podcast, his faith that the Lord Jesus Christ opened this door for men and women to speak the realities of what the scriptures hold and share experiences making them very much alive to share with others.

“Faith comes from hearing, and hearing by the Word of God”, as in the scriptures God led many to do His will, and today He is leading many to see His will accomplished, whether aware of it or not.

Ron Jackson

Introduced to a relationship with Christ and the Father when serving in the U.S. Army, it is through God’s Word that he finds this relationship to be alive today.
His desire is to speak that same Word to others in the framing of the new kingdom age coming forth on this earth through helping others understand these relationships for themselves.

“Your Kingdom come, Your will be done on this earth as it is in heaven.”, is his constant cry along with “not wishing for any to perish but for all to come to repentance.” His desire is for many to come into the same or greater relationship with the Father that he himself knows.

Dale Fridley

Dale comes from the Midwest. His father a WWII veteran, photographer, printer, his mother an accomplished organist, pianist. With three brothers they are a family full of music. His mother a professional organist played in many different churches exposing his family to different Faiths.

His love for sports was highlighted by an impartation from his high school wrestling coach, a life lesson, never give up. A Vietnam era veteran , married , three daughters brought many challenges and a quest for answers. Raised in a Christian home, he started on a path of looking to God for answers. He was rewarded with experiences of salvation, sanctification, Baptism of the Holy Spirit with Fire. His Savior is leading him in a relationship to the Father daily.

Mike Rickenbacker

A true “BABY BOOMER” and North westerner, born in 1946, lived in Washington State for 78 years, moved to Southern Oregon 2 years ago and loving my 80th year as I realize that Moses started his ministry of delivering the children of Israel (former name, Jacob) out of the land of Egypt when he was 80! I worked for 62 years, the last 57 in outside sales working for a number of companies selling products and services to small businesses mostly in Western WA.

Love history. It’s a fun subject as I research and study both world and Biblical history on a daily basis. When I read God’s Word and watch prophecy unfold right before my eyes, I get excited! Our spirits were created in the image of our Father and God who is Spirit. The Kingdom of God is the Family of God. The Father’s heart is that none should perish! This is why I love Him and His Word so much. It is by His Love that we are enabled to love one another because the Word made flesh, Jesus, fulfilled the law and brought us back into the family of God from where we came from!

Ken & Lois Boney

My name is Lois Boney, married to a man of God Ken Boney. We do everything together. Our most loved and treasured thing is reading and discussing the Word together first thing in the morning.

We both are in zoom meetings with friends who also love the Word, and value the growth that comes from that. We feel the reason for our existence is to worship, love and be led by our Lord Jesus Christ.
We have eight children and love spending time with them and their families.

I am Ken Boney. I started my journey with God at age twenty two. I feel like I have lived many lives from that time. I presently am retired and married to Lois Boney. Walking with God has been an adventure.

I love sharing the Word with others – it is my life. Lois and I host a zoom meeting once a week and are also part of a podcast. We love the fellowship with God’s people. I am thankful for God’s grace and patience with me.
