In I Corinthians 15:6 it states that, “He, Christ, appeared to more than 500 brethren at one time;” verse 7, “to James and all the apostles; and last of all appeared to me (Paul).”  John 20: 21&22, Jesus speaks to His disciples, “Peace be with you; as the Father sent Me, I also send you.” And when He had said this, He breathed on them, and said to them, “Receive the Holy Spirit.” The Holy Spirit regenerated their spirits in preparation for Pentecost and Fire, 49 days later, empowering the disciples into dynamic witnesses that spoke to the thousands of people coming from hundreds and thousands of miles, to hear the good news of Christ’s resurrection in their own language! Three thousand souls came to the Lord that day!

For 3½ years the disciples listened to Christ speak words of spirit and life, not able to hear with faith and comprehend what He was really speaking to them, but they envisioned themselves seated at Christ’s right and left hand once He was on king David’s throne in Israel tossing out the Roman armies! That dream bubble in their minds burst the moment they saw Christ on that cross! The Holy Spirit brought back to their remembrance all the words Jesus ever spoke to them.

Imagine sitting with the newly risen Lord and hearing the revelation of what Christ would have shared about His transformation and talking with some of those believers that just came up from the grave with Him! Without Christ’s resurrection, there would be no power, no glory, no salvation and no victory over death, sin and disease! Thank you, Lord for walking out your destiny and fulfilling all the prophecies spoken by the prophets! Blessed be Your name for-ever more, amen!
