Jesus exuded one attribute that constantly kept the door open for Him to come into the Presence of the Father. That attribute is humility. Humility leads us into repentance before the Lord.
Through humility, Jesus brings each of us into the Presence of our Father. In this place, He reveals who we are in Christ as members of His spiritual body.
Knowing who we are in Christ opens the door for each of us to function in our destiny as sons of God in this Day of the Spirit. We are here by the will of God.
At the same time, revelation from God often comes through our brothers and sisters. As we speak the heart of the Father to one another by His Spirit, the body is built up in love. This is body ministry.
Ephesians 4:15–16 states:
“But speaking the truth in love, we are to grow up in all aspects into Him who is the Head, even Christ, from whom the whole body, being fitted and held together by that which every joint supplies, according to the proper working of each individual part, causes the growth of the body for the building up of itself in love.”
Everything we have as sons of God has been given to us by God Himself through His firstborn Son, Jesus Christ.
Thank You, Lord.
How does humility open the door for you personally to experience the Presence of the Father in a deeper way?
In what ways can you allow the body of Christ around you to help reveal more of God’s heart to you?
What does it mean for you today to “grow up in all aspects into Him who is the Head, even Christ”?
