The Word of God carries more than information. When it is spoken by the Holy Spirit through a submitted people, it carries life, authority, and anointing.
This spiritual flow is not created by human thought or natural ability. It comes as the Body of Christ listens to the Lord, recognizes what He is saying, and moves together in submission. As each member stays with the “keynote” of the Spirit, the Word builds, deepens, and ministers to the entire Family.
Jesus Christ is the living Word.
“In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.”
— John 1:1
The flow of the Word begins with Christ being revealed within His people. It is not simply a matter of remembering Scripture or preparing something intelligent to say. The Holy Spirit brings the Word alive within us and gives expression to what Christ is speaking in the present moment.
Paul described this mystery as:
“Christ in you, the hope of glory.”
— Colossians 1:27
When Christ is speaking through His people, there is a recognizable life and anointing in the Word. Those who are listening in the Spirit begin to sense the same direction and respond to what the Lord is unfolding.
Every spiritual flow has a central emphasis—a keynote of what God is saying.
Once that keynote becomes clear, maturity is required to remain with it. A person may have something true to share, but it may not belong in the particular flow of the moment. Learning when to speak, when to wait, and when to remain silent is part of spiritual growth.
Jesus said that the Holy Spirit would guide us into truth.
“When He, the Spirit of truth, is come, He will guide you into all truth.”
— John 16:13
Following the keynote means listening beyond our own ideas. It means allowing the Holy Spirit to shape what we contribute so that the Word continues moving in one direction rather than becoming fragmented.
A true flow in the Spirit is often built long before anyone speaks.
Time spent waiting before the Lord prepares the heart and trains the spirit to recognize His voice. This preparation is not about planning every word in advance. It is about becoming quiet enough to hear.
“I will stand upon my watch, and set me upon the tower, and will watch to see what He will say unto me.”
— Habakkuk 2:1
Listening prayer helps us move beyond the noise of our thoughts and emotions. As we wait on the Lord, our spirits become more sensitive to His direction.
Preparation also gives us the confidence to trust what the Lord is placing within us. We do not have to force a word or create a spiritual experience. We simply learn to recognize and respond to His leading.
The anointing becomes stronger as each member submits to Christ in the others.
“Submitting yourselves one to another in the fear of God.”
— Ephesians 5:21
Submission does not mean losing our identity or becoming passive. It means recognizing that Christ may be speaking through another member of His Body. We listen, respond, and allow our contribution to serve the larger flow of what God is saying.
The Body of Christ has many members, but it is one Body. No single person carries the entire expression of Christ.
“Now ye are the body of Christ, and members in particular.”
— 1 Corinthians 12:27
One person may begin a thought, another may deepen it, and someone else may bring clarity or application. When each person is submitted to the Lord and to one another, the Word begins to flow with unity and authority.
The purpose of the anointing is not to draw attention to the person speaking. It is to reveal Christ and build up His Body.
As the Word flows, faith is strengthened, hearts are encouraged, and the Family is brought into a deeper awareness of God’s presence.
Paul wrote that the Body grows as every part supplies what it has received from Christ.
“From whom the whole body fitly joined together and compacted by that which every joint supplieth… maketh increase of the body unto the edifying of itself in love.”
— Ephesians 4:16
The anointing of the Word brings us into greater oneness because we are no longer speaking independently. Christ is speaking through His people, and the Body is recognizing His voice.
The flow of the Word also comes from knowing who we are in Christ.
Believers are not trying to reach God from a distant place. We have been brought near, made sons, and seated with Christ in heavenly places.
“And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus.”
— Ephesians 2:6
From this place of relationship, we can speak with faith and spiritual authority. We are not declaring our own opinions. We are learning to express what the Father desires to speak through His sons.
The more we recognize our place in Christ, the more freely we can participate in the anointing He is bringing forth through His Body.
John 1:1–14 — Jesus Christ is the living Word who came and dwelt among us.
Colossians 1:26–27 — The mystery of God is Christ revealed within His people.
John 14:26 — The Holy Spirit teaches believers and brings Christ’s words to remembrance.
John 16:13 — The Spirit of truth guides believers into what the Father is speaking.
1 Corinthians 12:12–27 — The Body of Christ has many members, each with an important function.
Ephesians 4:15–16 — The Body grows as every member supplies what has been received from Christ.
Habakkuk 2:1 — Spiritual preparation includes waiting and watching to hear the Lord.
Romans 8:14–17 — Those led by the Spirit are sons of God.
Ephesians 2:4–6 — Believers have been raised and seated with Christ in heavenly places.
The anointing of the Word is not produced through human effort. It flows as Christ is revealed within His people.
When the Body prepares before the Lord, listens to the Holy Spirit, submits to one another, and remains with the keynote of what God is saying, the Word gains strength and clarity. Each member contributes, but Christ remains the source.
This is how the Family is built up and brought into a deeper expression of oneness with Christ, the Father, and one another.
Am I taking time to listen to the Lord before I speak?
Can I recognize the central keynote of what God is saying through His Body?
Am I willing to wait when something I want to share does not fit the present flow?
How can I become more submitted to Christ as He speaks through other members of the Family?
Do I speak from confidence in my position as a son of God, or from human effort and insecurity?

I immensely enjoyed this podcast and everything that was presented here. It’s a true word from God, and we’ve been experiencing this in our home church here in Niterói, in the same place where we had our old prophetic community called Mount Zion (Monte Siao). It’s all very family-oriented, church at home, and we’ve grown in the flow of the word from the mouths of God’s saints.
I’d like more information on how the brothers and sisters operate in the USA. Is there a local church where you meet? Is it in a house? How do the services work?
We are eager to move forward and fulfill the Lord’s purpose to which we have been called in our pursuit of the Kingdom bringing forth on earth.
