A Lifestyle of Constant Change

Ron:

Welcome to Live Behind the Veil. I'm Ron, your host, and on this podcast, the family will be talking about how God is constantly changing us into His likeness. But that change requires an open heart that is ready to hear and respond to His voice. We will also discuss what it means to refuse delay, step out upon God's Word and faith, and allow Him to accomplish His purpose through us.

As we listen, respond, and walk with Him, spiritual change becomes a joyful way of life.

Dale:

I wanna create tonight the lifestyle of constant change. I create it in my own heart, and I create it for each one of you, that we come to the foot of His throne saying, "Lord, we are committed to constant change." As God begins to lead us, the door opens to w- just exactly what He wants. You can take it to the bank that God is not going to change.

He's gonna get what He wants. And as we prepare ourselves, and that means many things pass away in our own thinking, and He gives His mind to us as a gift.

Ken:

Revelations chapter 3 is a very important scripture when we talk about change. He says, "I stand at the door and knock, and if any man hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and sup with him and he with me."

That is a direct command from the Lord to open the door of our hearts and understand that our life is something that God's created and He continues to create. We're His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works. And so as we walk with God and do the things that He's called us to do, that's where He gets what He's after in our lives.

We're not just people that have been saved without a purpose. We're saved with a purpose I wanna relate to something that Dale said too about preparation. Being a prepared people doesn't mean we sit idly by and do nothing with it.

That means that we are just those who are continually wanting God to move through our lives.

There's a hunger in us, a hunger to reach in to what God is speaking, and be- and being ready to speak that same word. There's a drivenness in His sons. There, there is something in the family, there's something in the body of Christ, there's something that's driving us in this day, and it's His Spirit.

Debbie:

It's part of who we are, what we've given ourselves to, 'cause if we hadn't given ourselves to it, we wouldn't be doing it, but we are.

We're creating a whole new day. We can't tolerate delay any longer. Tolerating delay is like unbelief. It is unbelief. Only acting on the word of the Lord when it comes, immediately, whenever you get anything, whenever the Lord reveals something to you, you've gotta respond to it and release it to happen in the earth, because that's who we are.

People that have a walk with God, that have a relationship with the Lord- Can walk in this

Ken:

In reality, we all hear the voice of the Lord if we're listening. He's always talking. He's always speaking to our hearts. That is an experience, I believe that every son has. Every son is being led by the Spirit, but the Spirit is always speaking.

Dale:

As we're painting a picture of a walk with God, I'm taking out the brush of joy. Because there's nothing we have spoken about so far that doesn't come with the joy of the Lord.

What a delight to spend your time waiting upon Him, looking to Him, following His direction. When the time comes for us to speak a word that changes the nation, and a word comes to change the world, with it comes the joy of the Lord. And the key is we're making Him happy.

Ken:

All of us together have a word from God, and we're speaking that word, and it's edifying it's corrective it's building. It's doing the things God wants done. And so if your heart is open and you're involved in something like this, I would suggest to all of our listeners, find a group of people that love the Lord and are walking in His Word, and love to be in that group, and with a freedom to speak a word from God, because He will give it to you if you ask Him.

Sherry:

I think of that cry, "I won't let you go till you bless me." "I won't let you go till you bless me." There's like a cry that you have that, "All right, I'm gonna put on a worship, and I'm gonna worship. Okay. All right. Now, I'm gonna read the Word." You refuse to get bogged down in routine. There's just a persistence.

I won't let you go till you bless me. There's a variety of things you can do that just refuses to get bogged down in delay.

Dale:

What you're saying, Sherry, is very important, because we've got to realize who we are. You refuse to get bogged down in the soul life. Refuse to get bogged down with what you see on the TV or what you hear people talking about.

Instead of getting bogged down, we're exercising our free will. It's a move of your heart. It's a move of spirit, soul, and body. It's a movement of everything that you are. That's the cry of a heart that has been touched by the Father, showing them that He has so much for them. Alls they have to do, speak their own release because He has exceedingly, abundantly beyond what we can ask or think waiting for us.

Debbie:

I'll tolerate delay no longer. What delay is that? It's the delay of waiting to speak the word of the Lord of being distracted from speaking the word of the Lord, of allowing yourself to get distracted and onto other things. Your spirit needs to be in the presence of the Lord. We draw from the principles and from the scriptures, from the word that He's already spoken, that we will not tolerate delay any longer.

Dale:

What you're saying, Deb, is important. Our growth is not in physical and mental understanding of God. Our growth is in Him imparting His nature to us. God pouring out upon us His nature, His desire. What does He want in the earth, and where we fit into that. This is all about God getting what He wants.

Ken:

So how do we get there from here?

That's the question I would feel is going on right now out there with our listeners. Everything we do in a relationship with God is an act of faith Believe God by faith. He actually gives you the ability to have faith. He grants you His faith. This is why it's so important to hear what God's speaking as we walk along with Him, because He's always, always, always speaking.

A lot of times we're not listening. We have to have that listening heart. But once you hear a word from God, you step out on that word by faith, you will find something very wonderful happening. You'll find that God's in it, and He'll bless you in it, and He'll move through you, and you'll say, "Wow, where did that come from?

I don't know how I had that. I don't know how I spoke that." But it was there, and it was there because God spoke to you, and you spoke His word.

Ron:

As we bring this conversation to a close, let us refuse to postpone what God is speaking to our hearts. May we remain attentive to His voice, respond to His word in faith, and allow Him to continually impart His nature to us. God has created each of us with a purpose, and as we step forward in faith, He will work through us to accomplish His will in the earth.
