If we are honest with ourselves, we lack the knowledge and wisdom to create anything that could lift us out of the futility this world was subjected to by God after the sin of Adam. But thank You, Father, for sending Your firstborn Son, Jesus Christ, to set us free from that futility through the fulfillment of His destiny upon the cross and His resurrection from death into everlasting LIFE. Now He is seated at God’s right hand, interceding for us daily!
The promise of God to us in Isaiah 43:18–19 declares, “Behold, I am doing something new in the earth; now it springs forth—do you perceive it?” Another way to ask this is: Are we aware of what is new? We cry out for a greater awareness of what You are doing! We keep seeking and knocking, driven to see things as You see them, Lord. Open our spiritual eyes to see the truth that sets us free from all the lies and delusions of the enemy!
We look for a whole new spiritual experience on a higher level than we’ve ever known before. Revelation 21:5 says, “Behold, I am making all things new.” “All things” means both visible and invisible! We must first realize that we are in a New Day—the seventh day of a thousand years—the Kingdom Day, the Day of the Spirit, where God our Father is moving by His Spirit to bring us, His sons and daughters, into a greater awareness of all that He desires to impart to us. He longs to give us more of Himself and His attributes so that we become more like Jesus Christ, the Firstborn. Let us stir up our faith and believe for this to be our portion!
