Awakening to His Presence: The Kingdom Within

Christ Is Already Being Revealed

Christ in you, the hope of glory” is more than a promise for some distant future. It describes a living reality that is already unfolding within God’s people.

Many believers have spent their lives looking forward to the coming of the Lord as though His presence were entirely outside of them. Yet Christ is already here, making Himself known in those who open their hearts to Him. His life begins to dawn within us, much like the first light of morning appearing on the horizon.

At first, the light may seem small. But as our awareness grows, His presence becomes clearer and stronger. The Kingdom of God is not only something we are waiting to see—it is being formed and revealed within us now.

The Dawning of Christ in Our Hearts

Scripture describes the coming of Christ as a dawning. Peter encourages believers to pay attention to the prophetic word until “the day dawns and the morning star rises in your hearts.”

This dawning is an awakening to something God has already been doing.

There may have been seasons when the Lord was working deeply within us, yet we were unaware of it. Then, through revelation, our eyes begin to open. We recognize that He has been present, shaping our lives and drawing us into a greater experience of Himself.

The more aware we become of His presence, the more humbled we are. We begin to realize that Christ is not simply visiting us from time to time. He has chosen to live within us and reveal His nature through us.

Trusting God’s Timing

God has always worked according to His own timing. Israel waited many years for deliverance from Egypt. Generations passed before Christ was born into the earth. In every season, the Father determined when the next step would unfold.

Jesus said that no one knows the exact times and seasons except the Father. God does not always reveal His complete timetable. Instead, He asks us to remain open, watchful, and faithful as His purposes unfold.

Our focus should not be on trying to predict every event. It should be on recognizing what God is doing in us today.

The Lord is preparing His sons. He is making His people more aware of the realm of spirit, more conscious of His daily presence, and more sensitive to what He is bringing forth.

Creative Judgment Begins in His House

Scripture says that judgment begins in the house of God. This judgment should not be understood only as punishment or destruction. When God comes to His people, His judgment is creative.

He reveals what must change so that He can form more of Himself within us.

As we give ourselves to Him, we become His workmanship. He reshapes our thoughts, motives, responses, and desires. His purpose is to bring forth worshipers who love Him with all their heart, soul, mind, and strength.

God is turning our attention away from distractions and back toward Himself. He is saying, “Open your heart. Set your focus on Me. Let Me complete the work I have begun.”

God Is Present in the Process

We often look for a future event that we believe will finally make us complete or fulfilled. We may think, “When the Lord appears, everything will be different.”

Yet God is not only interested in the final event. He values the process taking place within us right now.

The Father is not waiting until we become perfect before He delights in us. He is present in our growth, our worship, our struggles, and our willingness to open our hearts more fully.

This can be difficult for the natural mind to understand. Our minds often limit what God wants to reveal by the Spirit. The things of God are greater than what human understanding can contain.

Rather than trying to analyze everything, we can remain open and create an atmosphere for His presence. When we become aware of Him, anything can happen.

You Carry His Presence

The Ark of the Covenant represented the presence, word, and glory of God among His people. Now, through Christ, His presence lives within His sons.

You carry His Word. You carry the life of Christ. The same God who performed miracles throughout Scripture is working within you.

This does not mean that we have reached the fullness of all God intends. It means that His life is already present and growing.

Change does not always require years. When our hearts are open to the Lord, He can transform us quickly. We do not have to wait until tomorrow to respond to Him. His Kingdom is dawning upon us today.

Open Your Heart to What God Is Doing

Christ in you is the hope of glory. His presence is continuing to grow and be revealed within His people.

Do not become so focused on a future event that you miss His presence today. Trust His timing. Receive His creative work. Allow Him to awaken your heart to the reality of His Kingdom within.

God is already here. He is already working. The question is whether we are becoming aware of Him.

Open your heart and let Him complete what He has begun.
