Being Led By The Holy Spirit Today
What makes a walk with God so fun and exciting is that as we walk each day filled with the Holy Spirit, He leads us into situations and we meet people that He wants to minister to. As we humble ourselves we become His channels to carry Him into every aspect of our daily life.
The Holy Spirit is filling our mouths and our hearts. We start our day asking the Holy Spirit to lead us. There are times when the Holy Spirit is specifically leading you. We keep opening our hearts and expecting the Holy Spirit to be there. The more we walk with God, His nature is imparted to us and we do things automatic from His nature in us.
Have you had experiences with the Holy Spirit in your life? Are you aware of His leading in your daily life?

There are times and seasons where I know I have opened up to that touch from above as I am learning to let go of inner anger and let the Holy Spirit take over and be thankful for all things.

Yes, I believe that the Holy Spirit guides us continually every minute, hour and day in our lives…..all we have to do is ask him at the start of every day. When a pilot punches in the coordinates of his destination before taking off, the plane’s navigation system continually guides, adjusts and corrects its path to stay on course every second. Sometimes we are aware of it, sometimes not, but we have to trust God that when we ask for this guidance from His Spirit, He will not deny us His leading in our daily life.

Thank you for your insightful response. We loved the analogy of the navigation system on the plane and how it adjusts automatically to correct the course of the destination. How many times do we get off from the Holy Spirit’s leading and then He has to say in that still small voice, “This is the way, walk ye in it.”

Yes, Seeking the Lord and simply asking Him to receive the Holy Spirit is a great way to start. If you can find a group of believers that have the Holy Spirit, you can have them lay hands on you to receive the Holy spirit and then let them help you grow in that relationship with the Holy spirit. We hope this will give you some beginning direction and help. We will pray for you that God will direct your steps in your hunger for Him!
