Summary

God’s people are called to embody and speak His living Word. Because His Word carries creative power and accomplishes His purposes, words spoken in alignment with Him can minister life, freedom, peace, and revelation to others.

As believers spend time in God’s presence, His rest and peace become part of them and flow naturally to those with receptive hearts. The ecclesia—God’s called-out people—is being matured and equipped to express Christ as a many-membered body. Their calling is to listen, believe, proclaim what God has spoken, and trust Him to fulfill it.

A Creative Word Through a Many-Membered Body

Ron:

Welcome to Live Behind the Veil. I'm Ron, your host, and today the episode is titled A Creative Word Through a Many Membered Body. God's Word is living, creative, and filled with the power to accomplish everything He sends it to do. In this conversation, we explore how that word is being expressed through a many membered body of Christ, not only through preaching or teaching, but through ordinary people who have allowed His Word to become alive within them.

As we spend time in God's presence, His rest, peace, and life become part of who we are. Then, as we speak from what He has worked within us, His Word can encourage hearts, bring revelation, and set people free. What a privilege it is to live in this day when God is speaking through His people.

Ken:

Who is the living word? Is the living word something out there in the realm of spirit that nobody knows what it is? No. You and I have been created to be the living word, to speak it out of our own being, from what we've appropriated of His word. We were raised up to be identical with Christ.

What does that mean? When we speak a word from God, it goes out, and it's a creative word. It goes out into the spirit realm. It's a creative force. His word is creative. It doesn't matter where it comes from, really, in a sense. When James and John were were walking with Jesus, and they were complaining about these other guys that were talking about the Lord, and He said don't bother them.

Leave them alone. If they're not against us, they're for us." What does that mean? If they're lifting Jesus up, and it's a word that's being spoken that Christ Himself can identify with, and it's going out there, it's going out and it's finding a place to settle, to minister to, to lodge in. These words do not die.

We have a word from God. It is resonant within us, and as we walk with God and speak His word, it resonates out into the spirit realm. We are living stones raised up to speak a living word.

Ron:

The Word has everything in it to complete itself. When God speaks a word, it doesn't return to Him void. It really doesn't even need our faith.

Everything in that Word that was spoken is contained in it. When God speaks a word the revelation of that word, it's gonna happen, period The word of God doesn't stop. It will continue to go. God's word is settled. It's done when He speaks it.

Ken:

It's an expression of what we have become, and the ecclesia, the called-out ones, is really the church.

It's a people, the called-out ones, that have been chosen and called out and defined by God. We're in a day when the Lord is leading, directing, and bringing forth that ecclesia. They're doing what God called them to do, and that's who we are, that we're doing what we've been called out to do.

Debbie:

There are many that have been called out. Many that have been chosen, many that are speaking a word from the Lord, and we have to be doing what we're supposed to be doing, and that's reaching into the Lord for more, to be more mature, more attentive, more aware of His presence. We are learning to walk in the Spirit.

Mike:

The thing I find interesting is you realize when you spend time in the presence of the Lord, you're spending time in His rest.

And rest and peace are synonymous with one another. And then when you go out, what we have had imparted to us is contagious to those that have open hearts to receive. I realize it in myself. I don't do anything. I just be who I am in the Lord, and what's in me emanates from me, and those that have the open hearts can draw from it, and they don't even realize.

Their spirit's doing the drawing, not their brains. It bypasses the brain side of things, touches them in the spirit, and then eventually after they stop and think about it and read the Word and the Word brings revelation, then it dawns on them. And God gets the glory in it.

Sherry:

On that point, I would just like to throw out something that I began to do a while back, and that was to become a watchman on the wall.

Supposedly, there's quotes in the scriptures that God is saying who Israel is, and a watchman on the wall can read those quotes and be giving back to Him His word. It's taken me out of any wrestling matches, any doubts about who I am. It's been really an amazing change, I feel, of confidence and peace because you can wrestle with the Lord on what word He has spoken.

There's such a, a delight and a fulfillment in it because it's gonna happen. He said it, and He's gonna do it. When you just find His word that He has spoken about His people, and you just give it back to Him, it's a delight. It's just a delight

Dale:

I think in this day, God is raising up another group that He is filling with His Spirit, that we're speaking into existence the Kingdom of God.

And so much is happening because a word that God is speaking is being spoken through a human vessel. What a manifestation of God's Spirit when a human vessel can speak a word from God. Take your Bible, go out on your front porch, and you start reading it out loud, and that word that you read will go around all creation.

All creation is affected by what you read and what you say. And pretty soon, you're gonna start believing it yourself, and it'll even add more power to it.

Mike:

This word contagious is really a blessing to me because I realize that live behind the veil is speaking the word out in a conversational form, which is the highest form of prophecy.

And people that hear it, if they have an open heart, it's very contagious, and it sticks to them. And what happens after that, we're not privy. We d- we're not there to see it, but by faith, I know God's doing work in them.

Ken:

Mike, it makes you realize, and we say this often, what a privilege it is to live in this day where God is moving through the many-membered body, speaking a word.

It is going out. Even as we're speaking right now, these words are going out in the spirit realm, and they're changing people. They're ministering to hearts. They're opening up the minds to really hear a word from God. There's a lot of people out there that are stuck. They're so locked into their ideologies, they can't see outside of it.

And I really truly believe that the Spirit of God within us can break people free, so that they can hear the word and see the evidence of it, and see and hear and walk with God.

Ron:

Thank you for joining us on Live Behind the Veil. God is raising up a many-membered body through whom He can express His living, creative word. As we remain in His presence and allow that word to become part of us, even our ordinary conversations can carry His peace, life, and transforming power. We may not always see where the word goes or how it touches another person, but we can trust that God will accomplish His purpose through it.

May we continue to listen for His voice, walk in the Spirit, and faithfully speak His word He has placed within us.
