His Plan – The Perfecting Of His Sons Today

The Scriptures are real explicit about God having a people for His own possession. Hebrews 12, the spirits of just men made perfect, He is perfecting our spirits. That means that the way we will respond to Him, the way our hearts remain open to Him. The way like Moses, remember when he was confronted by Korha, he said, he fell on his face. There was no contention in his heart and his spirit. God is perfecting our spirits, in the way we relate and respond to Him. It's just a matter of allowing God to possess us. But it is a matter of, of this emptying out business, of letting go of that self life, so that we can experience in a deeper way, what's already in us.

The revelation is I decrease, and He increases.

The more we're out of the way, the more we have laid our will down unto Him, the greater is His presence and awareness of it in our spirit. I think, that, as we go along here, the more we find that our submission to His Lordship, and our yielding to Him, that is Him increasing in us.

You're in the relationship with the Lord, because you've been bought with a price to start with. Christ made that choice. He comes down here and does what He does. And now it's up to us to get the revelation of this whole thing of what He's done for us. And when we really lay hold of understanding that revelation, why wouldn't you give yourself to Him? Why wouldn't you set aside that soul - flesh nature, and be open. To enter into this process of becoming just like Him? Because that's pleasing in the sight of the Father is to be just like Christ.

When I was younger, in the Lord, I felt that becoming is up to me. So you're always reaching in, you're always striving, reaching in to become something more in God. We're entering into a level of an awareness that He's the Creator. So, really, our part of this whole thing is, I think what Rogers saying, “Stay open, flexible, and giving your will over.” And so the bumps into our being created is when we resist with our will. He's doing the work. We're really not doing the work. He's doing the work in us.

Well, "We are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which He beforehand created for us to walk in."

Jesus made it really clear. He said, "No one comes to Me, unless the Father draws him." So what ever experience we had in meeting the Lord how great it was, or, subtle, it only happened because the Father was drawing us to begin with. Everything has happened in our lives; I don't care how you view it as positive or negative. God was in it to shape us to be who we are right now sitting in these chairs. So I think that this business, like you said, Ron, that we had ideas, maybe in our youth We Yeah, we're gonna press in, we're gonna be the sons of God. We've got all those things were probably necessary, were unnecessary in, maybe, a certain stage of our spiritual growth. But we come to a place now, I do believe that, that God has led us every step of the way in our lives, in every crossroad we've come to. And maybe this is the mystery of freewill? Because we did choose what He was setting before us. Did He enable us to choose? Do we do it on our own? I can't answer that. I just know that once choices are made, when you look back, you say, “What really choice did I have?” We always see it that way because God established something in us. And I think that's the way it's been, that God has laid His hand on us. But He has brought us forth as His sons. And if it were left to any one of us, He does it in such a way where we're making the right choice, because He has put it in our hearts to make that right choice. It's all the grace of God. The deeper we go in Him, the more we appreciate the grace of God, and we realize how much we needed it. It is Jesus Christ in us, is the victor, not us ourselves.

I think what we're really dealing with covers basically everything we're talking about, is the difference between soul and spirit. You arrive at a certain level of revelation. You're saying, “Man alive, was I a dummie!” Out of that realization, you quickly say, “Thank You, Lord.” I think what's happening is God's showing us the difference. As we live our lives, are you living in the spirit; Or are you living in the soul? If I'm laboring, I'm not His workmanship, I'm trying to be my own workmanship. If I open my heart to Him, He can change me, just that quick.

"And we know that God causes all things, to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose. For whom He fore knew, He also predestined to become conformed to the image of His Son, that He might be the firstborn among many brethren, and whom He predestined, these He also called, and whom He called, these He also justified, and whom He justified, these He also glorified.” That's who we are.

But it's according to His plan, and His purpose. That's where we fit in. God is going to reveal to you His plan at the beginning, before you enter into the purpose. We don't have to go to school for four years to get a diploma in His plan, His impartation to us can be that quick.

The whole thing is that we keep an excellent spirit, a contrite heart, keep that spirit of humility. We know who He is. And He's revealing to us more and more who He is. And it's through His Son.
