Intensity Of Spirit

What is violence? Is it a physical violence? Is it an emotional violence? Or is it something out of our spirit out of our heart, that is very, very focused, and intense?

Don't you think that as we're coming into this day of Spirit, that it's going to be affecting our emotions, every part of us. It has to start in the Spirit, this intensity, this violence of Spirit.

Ron

If I get up and start jumping up and down, and screaming, raising my voice, and being very emotional, about my prophecy is that the violence we're talking about?

David, when he was intensely worshiping, before the Lord took off his clothes and was just worshiping the Lord. He was intense in his spirit, he was violent, in his spirit, he was violent towards the Lord. It started with the relationship he had with the Lord, and out of His Spirit, it came. Can a person jump up and down and be crazy? If it starts in the Spirit; but I don't think it should be a show.

What I'm trying to get at is, there's a lot of fanatical things out there, that people get very emotional. If you haven't learned the difference between Spirit and soul, the tendency is to be very soulish, and call it Spirit. What I'm trying to walk people through, look, this is what it's not. There's too much false, in the churches. Too many people get up and they say, oh Hallelujah oh God, I love you and all this stuff. It's an emotional thing. It's a show, but it's not from their spirit, it's not from their heart.

One of the things you might do is look at it this way. What is the opposite of violence? Complacency, laziness, I don't care - ness. And our world is filled with that. But our world is also filled with violence. And that violence grows out of complacency. People get so sick and tired of something, they do the opposite. Instead, they're no longer complacent, they're violent. And many times, violence is not focused. It's like a riot. A riot has a purpose, supposedly, according to the news. But really it's just people who have lost control of their anger. These, like you said, Ron, are negative terms. So what do we do, that we don't dwell on the negative? We look to what did God say? What did He say about intensity, violence? How do you speak? Can you speak in a normal tone of voice, but yet project from your spirit an intensity? We all at one time or another fell in love on a soulish physical level. So you whispered in his or her ear, I love you. And that is very intense on that level. And you could say that intensity is violence. Because it it's not complacent. You don't pass it off. So many times it's easier to find a word that expands the definition of a word like violence. We were talking earlier and Ron, you brought up Elijah, Elisha. These guys they went out and Elijah; kids and we're making fun of him when he called down bears and Elisha called down bears on them; destroyed them. And then Elijah battle that he had with Jezebel and those. And you look all through the, the scriptures, especially the Old Testament, very violent. But there was also a violence that Christ stood by himself before the Sanhedrin, I think they called it, the court you could say, that is violence. He stood there like you said Deb, to stand firm where you are in your walk with God, not be pushed away or caused to back down from what you believe. That is violence, of Spirit that we're reaching in for. Are we to be any different with the creative Word that He places in our hearts.

So the intensity, I'll use that word rather than violence, the intensity of Spirit, is what we want to incorporate, if you want to say that, incorporate into our prophetic utterance, our creative utterance. Because the level that God is bringing His people, in prophecy is not so much predictive, but it is creative. A lot of God's men and women that are coming up now, when they speak, they're speaking a creative Word, that literally is framing or creating God's will in the earth, and beginning to create or framing age what God wants. I think the main focus of God is to bring forth His kingdom, bring forth His body in the earth. That's not just going to happen sovereignly. God's anointing and bringing forth men and women to be channels of His Word. And that Word is beginning to create and form and frame the kingdom of God on this earth. And that takes an intensity that's very, very intense, and persistent. So when you have demonic forces that have created and have taken dominion over this earth. Remember the scripture that talks about how Satan is the god of this world, and He's blinded the hearts and minds of men? That's a real honest to goodness thing. And so there are fortresses in the realm of spirit that Satan has created for, you know, I mean, I don't know how long. So now, God's colony of the kingdom that He's brought forth, has a job to do. It's to tear down Satan's fortresses, and, at the same time, create the positive. You don't destroy something because that creates a vacuum you at the same time you're creating and filling that. So this is a very real thing we're talking about. And that's why prophetic utterance with intensity is so important for God's people.

God is very intense, about creating you into His image. What is the first commandment? "You shall love the Lord your God," and you know, the rest of it and your neighbor as yourself. That's a very intense statement, a very violent statement. And then He's going to turn to the earth. The places where what's left to Satan and his angels appear to be ruling and reigning. And with a violence in His Spirit, a violence in our spirit, a violence coming through the Word that we speak, that brings down Satan's final reign on this earth. But that's done with an intensity of heart. And we experienced that, when we turn to the Father and say, I'm your son, create me.

If we really want to, we really want to become sons. We have to ask the Lord the Holy Spirit to give us that violence of Spirit. That intensity of Spirit that brings down the enemy but also creates the kingdom on this earth. Creates in the hearts of men, the Lordship of Jesus Christ.
