Summary:
As we trust God and believe His Word, He walks with us through all that we go through. As Christ’s nature and this deep relationship with the Lord come forth within us, we come to a place that He keeps us and we are sealed in to our relationship with Him for eternity.

As you trust God and believe what He says, He walks you through the hard times.

The is a level in your relationship with God that He will not let you leave Him.

Your eternal destiny begins to manifest as the Word begins to mature you in your relationship with the Lord.

There is a “Eternal Security” for those who have Christ formed in them. The Father will no longer allow His sons to be “crucified” again.

Take Away:
As we walk with the Lord in this deep relationship of trust and believing His Word, we come to the place in our relationship with Him of recognizing our eternal destiny and sonship. Being justified and glorified by Him we are sealed in an eternal relationship with Him as His bond servants.

It would be harder to leave this relationship with the Father, than anything I can think of. Believe me, the joy of the Lord is the most precious place you can; ,and it does get hard at times, of course it does. He's the one that leads you through it. He takes you through those hard times, if you trust Him, and believe what He says is true. You believe God, then you see that the result of that faith or belief in the Lord, because that's when it happens.

I would rather not live, than not be bonded to the Father. I thought about how I have given myself to the Lord, and all the good things and bad things that you've done. And I had a dream that the balance didn't go in my favor. And my heart was broken, that I thought about it. And I said, you know, I had those times, that can't be taken from me. The Lord spoke and said, wake up, son, that's not the truth. You can't leave, I won't let you. I rely on that, as a promise. We've all made promises that we can't keep. And that's one promise that I will move hell and high water to keep and if I can't, His grace is going to cover me.

In Hebrews, it says that Abraham went out, not knowing where he was going. If he had been looking back, God would have provided him a way to return. In other words, if his heart had been divided, God would have provided the means for him to leave. And that's in Hebrews 12, I believe, or maybe 11, one or the other. The point is, I think when we give ourselves sincerely, to His Lordship, and we say Yes, Lord, I think you're right, Dale, that becomes a binding thing for us. I have found myself in a fix in days gone by, where if I could have left and ran, I would have done it without hesitation. But God has a way of boxing us in, of hemming us in when we make that commitment. Where could have gone even if I you know, I did want to but I couldn't leave, couldn't do it. The circumstances were impossible. And I think God does that for us. When He sees our heart - it's just like with the disciples, you remember when everybody left after Jesus said, eat my flesh, drink my blood, and they all left, that's enough for us. And Jesus told the disciples are you gonna leave too? Well Lord, where are we going to go, You got the words of eternal life. God does hold, hold us in there. And He will not let us go. If He's predestined us as sons, we're going to make it through.

We're beyond the point of losing out. It's not a possibility. It won't happen. And it's because God won't let it. Not because anything we would do. It's because He won't let it happen. I think because His love is something difficult for us to understand. Because I'm bonded to Him, that bond brings a lot of things to me that I don't understand. I believe in that relationship; that relationship is strong. And His track record is impeccable. I don't know anybody that He has failed. Either you read it in the Bible, or you talk to them on the street. God hasn't failed one. He's not gonna start with me.
Roger:
I like what you're saying a lot, Dale. I was thinking about those passages, a couple different places in Revelation, where it speaks about how God seals His bond servants on their forehead. As we're growing, there are possibilities that can happen. But we grow and mature into a place where something is sealed. Those who held the Word, I think there is a sealing of God. And I think that He's gonna keep us right on in to whatever we're coming into. God's gonna bring us in.

So I got a question about what you guys are talking about. Is this because of the personal relationship that you have with Him, or is it because of the maturity of the Word that He's wrought within you? Or is it both?
Roger
I think it's one and the same thing, Ron. His Word comes forth in us. And Christ is formed in us. Jesus Christ, the Word is formed in us. And I am Him, and He is me. And I think we say is it the relationship, or the maturity? I think is one in the same. Maybe maturity is not a great word, because I don't know what, who knows what God's definition of that is. But I know and believe that Christ has come forth in us, like Paul said, is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me.

I want to interrupt you, because there's something that's becoming real to me as you're speaking. Christ is not come to be crucified again. So the Father is going, No, these are My sons, they are not going to be crucified again. So it is if you want to label it "eternal security." Yeah, it is. Because the Father is going, No, My son came once He went, He was obedient. He did what I told him to do, and He walked it out. And now that these sons of mine are walking it out, and they come to a place where He goes, these are My sons, they will not be crucified again, they will not lose.

I agree with what you're saying, Ron, I would say it this way: God has taken up His abode. Because the last breath of my flesh is coming very rapidly. To where I truly say it is no longer I but it's Him. It seems like our flesh screams the loudest when there's only a little left. He's gonna finish the job. And that's in spite of me. He'll finish the job. I guess that's the exciting thing that's happening. That's why I bond to Him. Because I can't finish the job. I am totally dependent upon Him to finish the job.
