There Is One Calling

Jesus Christ has come forth in us to one degree or another. Christ the Word is in us. Jesus said, if you've seen Me, you've seen the Father. All these things are in us. They're not coming out of the sky or out of heaven. They come forth in us. I believe that God is continually hammering at us to get us to understand that the fulfillment's of His word are not taking place outside of us, taking place in us. And in order to see that, there's got to be that relationship, that hunger to know Him, to recognize what's already taking place in us as a people. I've heard it said, I'll probably have said it myself at some time,

we have to be praying and prophesying because Satan is set to destroy the earth. He's working on it. He's going to destroy the earth if we don't get busy. Come on. How can you believe that anyone but the Lord is in control of what's happening in the earth? Yeah, exactly. He is the Lord. What is it? The second Psalm.

He who sits in the heavens laughs at the nations and what they boast in and purport to be doing and this and that. It's all under His hand. You say, wait a minute now, we've got to be channels of something. We are channels. It's what we're becoming is the channel. It's what He's becoming in us, that's the channel through which all things are accomplished in God, the same way it was with Jesus.

All that Jesus did, He said, the Father abiding in Me does His works - in Me. Why do we think that's changed? Things are a little bit deeper than what maybe we perceive them. This world will go on, indefinitely. Until there's a people who fully become, in God, what He's called us to be, as far as Christ in us having a completion in us.

It's Christ in us, the hope of glory. And I think, God is hoping, that we'll open up to that. There's a scripture that says, God will crush Satan under your feet shortly. And I don't know the full impact of that. The thing is, we have to, through the Holy Spirit, have to understand what God is always saying.

Unless there is a people walking on this earth, walking in full obedience to His Word and His intentions, to show the rest of the world that it can be done, how can He judge other people that aren't walking in what we're walking in? There has to be the plumb line to show it can be done. And Jesus was the first plumb line to show mankind that yes, you can walk on this planet without sin. It's a question of choice. You can choose to follow God in His word and be obedient and humble and love Him and serve Him or you can choose not to. He needs us and we need Him, because it's part of His plan. It's part of what He's trying to accomplish and we're gonna have all Eternity to figure out what it is that He has in store for us Again, you can't put God in a box Man just keeps trying to put him in a box, and it just isn't gonna happen.

I love in Ephesians, where He says, Just as He, God, chose us in Christ before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and blameless before Him. And then in love He predestines us to the adoption as sons through Jesus Christ to Himself according to the kind intention of His will to the praise of the glory of His grace, which He freely bestowed on us in Christ.

Did we deserve this? It's not a question of deserving. He chose us. Tune into the truth here. He chose you and I, to be here right now where we are at. He has this wonderful plan that's unfolding right before our eyes. And we're going to partake in that plan. And the key is for us to stay humble and love Him, love one another, and be inclusive in our relationships.

And if we can draw others in, you're not going to talk somebody into this because somebody else will come along and talk them out of it. It's got to be by revelation as we know. He is the one that we are standing on. He's the foundation and he's also the capstone.

That's a deep mystery that Roger started this whole thing off with of ministering to the Father. It's simple, but it's the hardest thing in the world to keep your focus upon Him and just loving Him and being thankful. I think thanksgiving is huge. Because He just wants you to be thankful, because He's already accomplished it.

It's already, you're predestined, you're set. He has a plan, and His plan is not going to be frustrated by anything, whether in us or outside of us, it's not going to be frustrated. Our thankfulness, our focus upon Him, our loving Him, but I still think this thing about our focus and our ministering to the father is a huge key.

He's calling us up. The goal is for us all to be where He is, that we may behold His glory. He said in John 17, if they be where I am, if they may behold My glory. There's only one calling, and that's this oneness with the Lord. And it's the only; there is no other calling.

Things we pass through in our growth in Christ is one thing, but those levels that we grow in are not the purpose of God. You read through Revelation, behold, the tabernacle of God is among men, wipes away all the tears. That's taking place in us. His purpose is that we'd be filled up with Him, His fullness.

That's the goal for every Christian, whether they get there or not, we don't have different callings. I think that's a false teaching in Christianity. The word says it one calling one faith, one baptism, Paul said. One calling that we're called to know Him to be complete in Him; Him complete in us. That's His purpose.

He didn't call anyone to be a halfway Christian or to make it halfway. They had a destination and the destination is the same for every one of us. But the point is, there's one calling. We don't want to get tied up in something lesser. Come up into a higher realm. Come up in the spirit to know the Lord.
