And He gave some as apostles, some as prophets, some as evangelists, some as pastors and teachers, for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the building up of the body of Christ;until we all attain to the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a mature man, to the measure of the stature which belongs to the fullness of Christ.

Take Away:

We must not compare what God is doing today with the early church. You must be seeking the Lord for what He is doing today. On the day of Pentecost the church was born by men and women speaking a Word from God. In this day a people are speaking a gospel of the Kingdom which will change this age and bring forth God’s Kingdom to this earth.

If you compare yourself to the early church, you're in trouble. You really are, you're in trouble. You can't compare. You have to be seeking the Lord for what He's doing today. There has to be number one, very much a trust in Him. You're not going to hang in there by what you see or what you hear, or the fruit. You're looking for the fruit, where's the fruit? Where's the fruit? No, you're going to end up being so frustrated, because He's doing a deep deep work. Because He's not worried about the fruit as much as He was worrying about the work He's doing in a people's spirits, because He knows the fruit is gonna come. This is eternal.

Now we're in the age of Spirit. You have to trust in the Word that you speak. You have to believe that the Word that you speak is the Word of God. You have to believe in your relationship with the Lord. And you stand on that.

God's doing something today. He's doing a quick work in the earth. That's what's exciting to me is because He can change things in a twinkling of an eye, a nation can be born in a day. His Word, you can hear it in the morning and you can walk in it as soon as you receive it into your heart, into your spirit and it becomes a part of you. When that Word becomes a part of you, it's now established in the earth. Just how much do you believe God? How much do you believe His Word? It goes beyond agreement. If you dumped your mind, and you have the mind of Christ, that's what it says. Put on the mind of Christ; then you're gonna believe. God is gonna get out of me the worshiper that He created at the beginning. He's gonna get out of me that son that He wanted, He's gonna get out of me His word being returned back to Him. That's what He wants. And because we believe that it's gonna happen. If you have faith for a Word that God has spoken, that Word will happen. That Word is happening now. Just like God, that's His Word, It was, It is, and It will be. We're a generation that lives with a heritage of I Am, with a strong knowledge of I Am right now. And we also live with the promises of I Am. When God gives you Himself when He gives you His Nature, He gives you his heart. He manifest himself in you. Then you come to the place where, what joy is there because you realize that He's all you ever wanted anyway. We come to the place of maturity Ephesians 4:11 The apostles and prophets, evangelists, pastors and teachers were for a time to where we reached a maturity. And then there was more. What's in your heart, unconditional love for my brother. unconditional love for the Word. Because God's unconditionally faithful to His own Word. And as much as we try to bend it, break it, turn it upside down or do whatever we do to it. It doesn't change, and still brings the rewards that we invest to receive. I don't find it any place else, but in His Word and in Him.
