God will always confirm the Word He speaks to your heart if you ask for it. Let the Word of God be confirmed by the mouth of two or three.
Confirmation is like gathering faith from others.
When you believe God has spoken to your heart, you can take what you believe He has spoken to you to those that you fellowship with, those that you trust, and submit it to them for confirmation.
There are many situations regarding getting confirmation, but in them all there must be a integrity in the individual who is seeking confirmation so that they are not trying to manipulate the answer that they are looking for. You have to be sure that God is speaking to you before seeking confirmation.
The lack of confirmation doesn’t necessarily mean that the answer is no. Sometimes God may not give confirmation right away, and so there also must be trust and patience in seeking confirmation.
There must be a faithfulness in the individual to make sure that what he believes he is hearing is truly a Word from the Lord.
