God intends for His mercy to triumph over judgment because He emphasizes in His own Words and/or implied intent recorded in scripture “Mercy triumphs over judgement”. (Luke 1:50, Luke 6:36, James 2:13, Eph. 4:32, Prov. 28:13, Col. 3:13, Heb.4:16, etc…)

God promises to write His law, as His living Spirit, on our hearts. (Jer. 31:31, 2Cor 3:2-3, Heb. 8:10, Rom. 2:15, Isa. 55:8-9…etc).

Father/God wants us to trust Him, His ways & thoughts over all of our human efforts. (Prov. 3:5-6, Psalm 23, Josh 1:8-9, Isa. 55:8-9, Rom 7:24-25 …etc).

Salvation and righteousness come only through God’s grace and provision, not through human effort. (1 Cor. 1:30-31, Prov.31, Isa. 41:13, Heb. 11:7, Heb. 4:16, etc….).
