Elizabeth Barrett Browning once wrote, “How do I love thee? Let me count the ways.” It’s a beautiful question, but when we consider God’s love, the ways are beyond number. His love is boundless, everlasting, and unlike our human affection—it is pure, undefiled, and without condition. While our love often falls short, tied to emotions or circumstances, the Father’s love flows freely through Christ, the Head of the Church, into every member of His body. As believers, we are called not only to receive this love but also to release it—back to Him in worship and outward to others in need. By His grace, we are empowered to share His love in ways both great and small, letting it touch those inside the body of Christ and those who have yet to experience it.
The beauty of God’s love is that it can be expressed in simple, everyday actions. A kind word, a helping hand, or a prayer for someone in need can be a channel for His Spirit to minister. Scripture reminds us in Ephesians 3:19 that the love of Christ surpasses knowledge and fills us with all the fullness of God. Growing in this love requires practice—it is something we exercise by giving it away. Each time we choose to love without expectation, we align ourselves with Christ, the Son of God’s love, and become living vessels of His grace. The more we practice His love, the more naturally it flows, revealing Christ to the world around us.
