Speak Christ in the Earth

Revelation 19:10 ends with these powerful words: “For the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.”

What is prophecy? Simply put, it is a spiritual message from above spoken through anointed and humble human vessels. To prophesy means to speak the Word of God—Christ, or the Holy Spirit. In essence, we become the mouths through which God, Christ, or the Holy Spirit can speak!

Today, God is making His Word come alive within us. As Peter declares in 1 Peter 4:11, “Whoever speaks, let him speak as the oracles of God.” These words must come from our own personal experiences in our daily walk with Him. When the Word becomes part of our very being, we are then able to impart it to others—believing for them to share in that same life-giving experience.

Christ is the Word made flesh. We read the Word from the Scriptures, we digest that Word, we speak that Word, and through this process, we become that Word.

Jesus Himself grew as a child, reading the Torah (the first five books of the Bible) and the Tanach (which includes the Psalms, Proverbs, Lamentations, and the Prophets). As He began to speak the Word to the religious leaders of His day, they marveled at the wisdom that came forth from Him—even as a young boy.

To speak the Word is to speak Christ into the earth, for He is the living Word!
