Can you envision yourself as becoming a king or priest standing with the Lord our redeemer? Seemed like a bit of a stretch for me, until I began to read the word of God.

1 Peter 2:9 states, “You are A CHOSEN RACE, A ROYAL PRIESTHOOD, A HOLY NATION, A PEOPLE FOR GOD’S OWN POSSESSION, that you may proclaim the excellencies of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light.” Submission means that we must submit our will to His will and we open our hearts to understand that humility is the nature that was in Jesus Christ. ANUVAH is the Hebrew word for humility.

Meanings include; to respond, to break, to subdue, must be violent in our spirit to shake off the passivity of this world and take the kingdom by force. Your talent, is God’s gift to you, what you do with it, is your gift to God!

Genuine humility is knowing who we are and who we are not! We eliminate our ego by walking with our Lord in humility. Micah 6:8, “God has told you, O man, what is good; and what does the Lord require of you, but to do justice, to love kindness and to walk humbly with your God.” Amen.
