Ron:

Welcome to Live Behind the Veil. In times when everything around us feels uncertain and shaken, what remains, what is real, what cannot be moved. In this episode, we explore how God uses seasons of testing, loss, and shaking to draw us into something deeper, not a surface belief, but a real living relationship with Him.

As every false security is stripped away, we begin to discover what it truly means to know God, to hear his voice, and walk with Him in spirit and in truth.

Ken:

I do believe that God is expanding what He's begun in our lives to such a great extent that just hearing a word spoken by someone without the Spirit, you recognize immediately that's not God, but somebody with the same word speaking under the anointing of the Spirit. You hear God speaking.

Ron:

Without that persistent consistent foundation and focus upon the Lord, everything is taken off ,even a slight degree. And that's all it takes to make it a lie or not quite what the Lord's looking for. It's all about that relationship with the Lord. No matter where we're at with the Lord, there's more. There's much more that's eternal, but nevertheless, it's the drive.

Debbie:

We're running after Him. We wanna know Him. I want to know the Lord with my whole being, all that is within me. I want to know the Lord. What does that mean though? That's where the rubber meets the road.

Dale:

There's a lot of people who pursue God. They have a revelation of the things that are wrong in their life, is not God. So we learned what to run from. We learned what to guide our, we walk with God more by what's right and what's wrong. Actually, what we're looking for is sources of security. If you've ever crossed a stream where the pebbles and the rocks are such a step apart.

You learn to find your security, and that's what Christianity is filled with. People who are pursuing God out of a need or a desire of security. And what happens? God comes along and says, that's not what I'm about. I'm not about providing you with security. That's where we look to Him. And the first thing He does is blows on that security.

He comes and shakes us up a little bit. What you thought was I can be secure in this. First thing He'll do is take that away. It's so beautiful to see God move upon His people and pull the little rugs here and there out from underneath them because only when we come to realize. That without security we'll know God.

Ken:

One of the oldest books in the Bible is Job. Job had everything God had blessed him immeasurably with animals and the wife and all the children and how they were wonderful kids that he prayed for every day and believed for them, and yet something happened. When Satan came before God and said, job's not trusting You for not, he's trusting You because You have a hedge around him.

And no, I can't even get to him. And the Lord took away the hedge and allowed job on a journey. To find Him. And I truly believe that's what it's all about. It's about this journey that we have to know the Lord. It's about the journey that we go through, and with the ups and the downs, the disappointments, the discouragement, and yes, oftentimes complete devastation.

It brought him to a conclusion because God spoke to him and revealed Himself to him. But it was after all of the things that he went through in the journey of his faith in God and the realization that God had put a hedge about him and he was protected. But now he was being tested to find out if he really did love God.

And I think that test comes to every individual that walks with God.

Dale:

God brings us to the place that we become dedicated to testing. Just to understand what He really wants, and we become dedicated along the lines of this dedication. We learn endurance. We learn testing, we learn trials, all these things.

God is working in our hearts that we become dedicated to it. Out of that, He'll get the real thing. Job. He was dedicated to it. He could go through anything. Only one thing he would not do, and that was to reject God. He learned I bow low and worship You.

Ken:

I think Job had a relationship with God. That relationship was real and God blessed him with all of the things that he had.

But when Satan said, when you test him, he's gonna curse you. And God said, you don't know my servant job. God knew Job because there was a relationship there. There's something I believe that is coming in these latter days that we're living in, that God is speaking to our hearts and then allowing the devastations to come to find out what's there.

But more than that. He wants us to see what's in our hearts. I don't think a lot of us know what's in our heart until it's tested, but boy, when it's tested, you find out pretty quick

Mike:

What we're talking about, the dedication that job had in his relationship to the Father opened up. With new revelation, the words that He had spoken to him before took on a different meaning after he was going through this test and what he was going through in this test.

So when God spoke to him again, it was a new, fresh revelation. Matthew 16 comes alive, loud and clear because the whole foundation of the Ecclesia, the called out ones is the revelation from the Father.

Ken:

He wants us to hear Him on a personal level, on relational level, we have to hear from God. It has to be real.

Ron:
